Sonoma Raceway
This aerial panorama of Sonoma Raceway was taken by James Blakeway during a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Formerly known as Sears Point Raceway and Infineon Raceway, Sonoma Raceway is a 1.99 mile road course and drag strip located on the landform known as Sears Point in the southern Sonoma Mountains near Sonoma, California. It opened in 1968 on 720 acres of property. Today, the Raceway has more than doubled in size and become one of the premier motorsports venues in the country, hosting 340 days of racing activity each year. The course is a complex series of twists and turns that go up and down the hills. The Raceway is located just 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
It's Northern California's racing paradise, and the most unique stop on the NASCAR circuit! As the cars roar around the wild winding course, this spectacular poster shows race day in all its breathtaking detail. From the vast dirt infield, to the unique shape and undulations of the track, to the massive jam-packed grandstands, it's all here, looking great for your wall. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official track logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come! A must for any true NASCAR fan.
