Clemson University - Frank Howard Field at Memorial Stadium
This panorama, taken by Robert Pettit, features the Clemson Tigers football team playing on their home turf for another win at Frank Howard Field at Memorial Stadium. On the same day Clemson honored the 1981 National Championship football team at Death Valley, the Tigers tied one of its records for points in a quarter with 35 in the third quarter, and also eclipsed 50 points in the game for a second-straight week. The Tigers were established in 1897 and achieved their first undefeated season in 1900. Clemson University is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains on the shores of Lake Hartwell and enrolls over 19,450 graduate and undergraduate students on an annual basis.
A touchdown under the bright fall southeastern sky, with the nation's greatest home crowd witnessing another high-scoring victory - it doesn't get any better than this! This panorama takes you inside Memorial Stadium in October 2011, as the Clemson Tigers went on a tear against North Carolina after an emotional ceremony honoring the 1981 championship squad, to move to 8-0 and keep the 2011 championship dream alive. Whether you were there in attendance that day, were watching on TV, or are simply looking for a beautiful gameday panorama from Clemson from perfect end zone perspective for your wall, this one's for you! A rare, beautiful poster for your wall, and a valuable collector's item for years to come.
