University of Utah - Rice-Eccles Stadium
This panorama of Rice-Eccles Stadium, taken by Christopher Gjevre, captures the Utah Utes football team playing against Pac-12 Conference opponent, the USC Trojans. Seizing the importance of this game, Utah football asked fans to wear black as part of the team's annual Blackout game dating back to the 2008 Sugar Bowl winning season when Utah hosted TCU. Utah and USC first competed against one another in football on November 20, 1915, at Cummings Field in Salt Lake City. The Utes and Trojans have met multiple times since that first game, including the 1993 Freedom Bowl and the 2001 Las Vegas Bowl, which the Utes won 10-6.
Under the lights at the stadium, on blackout night, and the Utes rolling to victory to move into the nation's Top-20 - it doesn't get any better than this! This panorama takes you inside Rice-Eccles on October 25, 2014, at the apex of a remarkable season. Whether you were there in attendance that day, were watching on TV, or are simply looking for a beautiful gameday panorama from Salt Lake City via the perfect end zone perspective for your wall, this one's for you! A rare, beautiful poster for your wall, and a valuable collector's item for years to come. Note: this poster is now out-of-print; limited quantity remains in our warehouse.
