Zion National Park - Zion Canyon
This panoramic photograph of Zion National Park was
taken by James Blakeway looking south from Observation Point. Located in
the southwestern corner of Utah, Zion National Park is a masterpiece of
towering cliffs, deep red canyons, mesas, buttes, and massive monoliths,
often said to be the most beautiful place in America. The North Fork Virgin
River flows through Zion Canyon providing water to the canyon where annual
precipitation is a mere 14 inches. Angels Landing, in the forefront and
right of the canyon, is one of the more famous landmarks in Zion National
Park along with Great White Throne located left of the river near the top
of the canyon walls.
A breathtaking look at Southern Utah's beautiful badlands! This spectacular
poster features famed panoramic photographer James Blakeway's afternoon
look at an untouched place of true beauty, carved into the high desert
through millions of years of geological events and erosion. Whether you
have gone hiking or skiing in the canyon, are a lover of America's southwestern
high desert, or are simply looking for some unbelievable nature photography,
this is for you! A rare, beautiful poster for your wall.
