What are your shipping & handling charges?
We are proud to offer some of the lowest shipping & handling options
in the business! Note - shipping charges are PER ORDER, not per poster,
so you can order as many posters as you want for one low shipping charge!
Insurance is included in all shipping methods. All US orders are shipped
via our warehouse in Western New York state; all Canadian and International
orders are shipped from our headquarters in Toronto. All prices are listed
in U.S. Dollars, except where indicated in CDN (Canadian Dollars). For

What payment options do you offer?
You may pay for your purchases with Visa, Master Card, or American
Express through our secure on-line ordering system and our toll-free ordering
line (1-888-650-3455). You can also place your order through the mail and

Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, we do! You may purchase a gift certificate by clicking on the
graphic below, and following the simple instructions. (Gift Certificates

If a poster is listed as "Out of Print" and/or "Sold Out", how
can I still purchase it?
The quick answer to this question is: YOU CAN'T (no matter how nicely
you ask!). If a poster is "Out of Print", it means the publisher has discontinued
the title and has no more left in stock. If a poster is "Sold Out", it
means that we no longer have any remaining in our warehouse, and have no
way of replenishing stock.
Now, sometimes we are lucky enough to obtain limited quantities of posters from third-party sources long after they have gone "Out of Print". However, we cannot predict if or when this may occur for any particular poster. It could be months; it could be years; it most likely will be never!
The only other source we can refer you to for Out of Print, Sold Out posters is eBay. On eBay, you may be lucky enough to find a private sale of the particular poster you are looking for. You will likely have to search persistently, as it is also impossible to predict if or when you will be able to find the poster offered.
How do I track my order?
If you chose FedEx Ground or Express shipping, call our toll-free number
(1-888-650-3455) or e-mail
us to receive your tracking number, which can be used to trace the status
of your delivery. If you chose USPS First Class/Parcel Post, you cannot
track the exact progress of your package, although we can check for delivery
confirmation to determine if someone has accepted the package on your behalf.
You may call or e-mail
us to find out exactly when your order was shipped out, and when it is
expected to arrive.
What is your privacy policy?
At The Sports Poster Warehouse, we take your privacy extremely
seriously. All information you share with us is fully secure and will never
be shared with anyone. Period. Your telephone number will only be used
if there is a problem with the processing or delivery of your order. Your
e-mail address will only be used to communicate regarding your order (unless
you sign up for our monthly newsletter).
What if am not home during the day to receive packages?
Please try to provide a shipping address to a location where you know
someone will be present to receive the package. Most common solutions are:
work address; close friends or relatives; neighbors; or Post Office Boxes
(for USPS orders only). Packages most often go missing when shipped to
apartment complexes. Because couriers often leave packages unattended if
the recipient is not present to receive it, The Sports Poster Warehouse
takes no responsibility for missing parcels.
My poster isn't in perfect condition. Does this affect its collectible
value?
No, not at all. Posters come straight off the printing press with minor
dings, kinks, or tears - that's what happens with large, thin sheets of
paper. However, these imperfections rarely affect the overall appearance
of the poster, and therefore do not devalue the item at all. Condition
is not as sensitive an issue as it is with sports cards or smaller collectibles.
Posters are considered "Brand-New" if they have never been hung on a wall
or excessively handled. There are no premium designations (i.e. "Gem Mint"
or "Excellent") with posters. If a poster does have major defects (creases,
pinholes, fading, etc), they will be fully disclosed on the poster detail
page. However, almost every poster we sell is in brand-new, never-used
condition, straight from the publisher's warehouse!

Do you have a store location? What are its hours?

How long will it take for my order to get to me?
At The Sports Poster Warehouse, over 95% of shipments are received
within the promised delivery window quoted when you order! Unlike
other mail-order poster retailers, we do our best to keep every item shown
on our web site in stock in our Toronto-area warehouse. Therefore, your
waiting time depends almost exclusively on the delivery option you choose.
We offer everything from standard First Class postal delivery (1-2 weeks)
to FedEx Express (Overnight). You can view all the shipping options and

Why isn't "Cash" listed as a payment option?
The Post Office recommends you never send cash in the mail. Unlike
checks or Money Orders, cash is completely untraceable, so if your envelope
is lost or stolen you have no recourse. Nevertheless, you may send cash
to pay for your order at your own risk. We bear no responsibility for envelopes
sent to us that contain cash.
Can I place an order as a gift for a friend, and have the items
delivered directly to the gift recipient?
Yes! We have made this process very easy, and we even include a customized

I have never ordered anything from Canada before. Doesn't this
create problems that I would not have if I ordered from a U.S. store?
Ordering from Canada does not create any problems that could not occur
with a U.S.-based store. We now ship all US-destined orders from the Post
Office in Western New York State, so there are no additional entry delays
at the border. Posters are duty-free under NAFTA (the North American Free
Trade Agreement), so you never have to pay importing taxes. And our Toll-Free
customer service line can be reached from anywhere in North America, so
contacting us is never a problem.
What happens if my posters were damaged during delivery?
We guarantee that you will receive the posters you ordered in the condition
that is advertised, and we will replace all damaged items in a timely fashion.
We use super-strong custom-made shipping tubes that arrive safely at their
destination more than 99.5% of the time. Still, accidents do happen, and
the occasional tube gets bent or crushed in transit. Please report all
damaged tubes to us immediately so we can begin the process of replacing
your order.
What is your returns policy?
1. Returned items must be received by our warehouse within 30 days
of delivery.
2. Digital media items (DVD sets, etc.) and Fathead wall graphics are
ineligible for return.
3. Posters/prints are eligible for return only in unblemished condition.
Creases, rips, dents, or other damage makes an item ineligible for refund.
4. After inspection by our returns department, eligible items will
be refunded via your original method of payment, less a $2.50 restocking
fee per item.

What happens if my order was shipped incorrectly (i.e. wrong poster
shipped, items missing, etc.)?
At The Sports Poster Warehouse, we have a triple-check system
that ensures most mistakes are caught before orders are shipped. However,
because we stock over 4,500 different items, mistakes do sometimes happen.
If you have a problem with your order, please report it immediately. We
will check our records, investigate with our shipping department, and fix
the problem in a timely fashion.
I would like to carry some of the posters
found at The Sports Poster Warehouse in my retail store. Do you offer wholesale
pricing or volume discounts?
The Sports Poster Warehouse is not a wholesaler. We buy our posters
from publishers and other wholesalers and sell them at retail prices. Therefore
we do not have wholesale rates to offer. We do offer volume discounts on
orders of 15 posters or more. If you would like to place an order of this

Do you ship outside of North America?
Yes, we ship to most developed parts of the world! We have shipped
thousands of orders to countries such as England (and the rest of the UK),
Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Australia,
New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Israel, and South Africa, to name
some of the most common international destinations. International Air Mail
delivery is only US$12.95 per order, while UPS International Expedited
service is available to many of these destinations for as little as US$29.95.
Unfortunately, there are many countries in the world where shipping
is not covered by our insurance, and therefore we cannot accept orders
from certain parts of the world. This includes much of Africa, the Middle
East, Southeast Asia, and South America. If your country does not appear
as a selection on our order form, then we cannot ship to you. If you would

If I join the waiting list for a poster that is out of print,
how long will I have to wait before I can buy it?
It is impossible to predict when, or even if, we will be able to re-stock
any out-of-stock items. It could be a matter of weeks, months or
years. No one is reprinting these items, so the only way that we have to
obtain additional copies is to find them on the secondary market, and this
is purely arbitrary.
What if I really want a poster of a particular team or player,
but I can't find it on the web site?
Make sure you first tried using our Search function:

Ensure that you have spelled the name correctly. If you still can't
find it, try sending
us an e-mail with your request. If we cannot fulfill your request,
we will keep it on file and will notify you via e-mail in the future if
we can satisfy your request.
How often do you add new items to the site?
We are constantly adding new posters to our vast selection, at an average
rate of 20 items per week. The "What's New" section of our home page highlights
some, but not all, of the new items we have added to the site. If you are
a regular visitor to The Sports Poster Warehouse, you'll notice
new and exciting collections and posters constantly popping up.
I have an old poster that I don't see on your web site. How do
I find out how much it is worth?
We do not have an appraisal service, and we will not answer e-mails
asking us how much a particular poster is worth. Unfortunately, we are
not aware of any poster price guides in print - the only way to truly determine
the value of a poster is to auction it off and see how much you get!
I am an individual who has some old posters I want to sell. Will
you buy them from me?
Generally, we buy posters from individuals only if it involves a large
quantity (50+) of posters in brand-new, never-used condition. We never
buy posters with tack holes, water damage, fading, or other significant
defects. Nonetheless, if you have a group of posters in top condition that
you wish to sell, send us an e-mail and let us know what you have, and
we will notify you if we have any interest.
