He is an all-time legend, The Yankee Clipper, and a name that will always be synonymous with baseball greatness!

This amazing poster features a great example of the non-stop hustle of Joe D. Despite performing in front of a sparse crowd late in the season at old Briggs Stadium (Tiger Stadium) in Detroit, days after the Yankees had been eliminated from the pennant race (a rare day indeed in his career), DiMaggio gave all he had in his attempt to take third base on George Kell and the Tigers. With dirt flying everywhere, and DiMaggio's old-school flannel uniform flapping in the cool Fall air, this is a great tribute to baseball in the golden era, and a wonderful DiMaggio image for the wall of home or office.
