Moses Malone led his Houston Rockets to the Finals in 1981, but could not get over the hump, and chose to join Dr. J in Philly for another run at glory. With outstanding athleticism for a 6' 10" giant, Malone used his unrelenting thirst for rebounds and blocks, and a remarkable ability to put the ball in the net, to help the 76ers sweep the Lakers aside that spring. With a championship ring on his finger, there was no longer a doubt - Moses Malone would head straight to Springfield on the first ballot, and join the rest of the great big men in the Hall of Fame!
