Kick Off
A panoramic view in San Diego, California - The Rob Arra Collection

November 29, 1998. The largest crowd in San Diego Chargers history has gathered at the former Jack Murphy Stadium to see the Bolts take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos. It's a beautiful fall night in Southern California, and although the home team is about to lose, the crowd has gotten its money's worth. Elway and TD were amazing, and two months later the Broncos would be World Champions once again.

With this poster, you are transported back to an electric evening at the Chargers game. Like all prints in photographer Rob Arra's Everlasting Images series, every stadium detail is in perfect focus, and as you pan across the poster you feel like you are actually there! You can see the end zone scoreboard, the NFL team flags lining the upper reaches of the stadium, the sideline entourages, the fans in the stands, and the Chargers setting up to return a kickoff. The end-zone perspective creates an amazing effect, like a work of art! It is a beautiful piece that deserves a nice frame and a prominent place on the wall of every Chargers fan.
