San Diego Chargers "America's Game" - Front Row Collectibles
NFL 1920-1994
SEVENTY FIVE YEARS STRONG

A true classic for any Chargers fan, from one of the greatest seasons in franchise history! This is the official poster of the Super Bowl-bound 1994 Chargers. Part of a series commissioned by the NFL to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the league, this breathtaking work of sports art was painted by the legendary Merv Corning (1926-2006), who was the NFL's official artist of the era. In front of a flapping American flag appears a 1920s-era player in an old leather helmet and flannel jersey, and a modern San Diego Chargers gridiron warrior in full fiberglass protective wear, both sharing three common traits: competitive intensity, love of football, and pride in the good old USA. With the official 75th Anniversary logo, and the title "Seventy Five Years Strong", this is both a spectacular work of sports art for your wall, and a rare collector's item for the future. Published by the short-lived football art firm Front Row Collectibles, very few of these posters made it into fans' hands, and nearly the entire print run sat untouched in a Bay-Area warehouse for more than a decade before we acquired them for our customers. The perfect way to add a unique touch to your home, office, bar, or clubhouse!
