Canada-Russia 1974 Summit Series - 4-DVD Set
Re-live "The Lost Series", sight-unseen for more than 30 years! This incredible, rare boxed set features seven of the eight games from the 1974 Canada-Russia Summit Series - that long-forgotten clash between the Soviet Red Army team and the All-Stars from the upstart World Hockey Association (WHA). It was perhaps the finest hour for the Soviet squad, as it took the series 4-1-3 despite the presence of legendary Canadian superstars Bobby Hull, Gerry Cheevers, JC Tremblay, Paul Henderson, Frank Mahovlich, and the rest. For the Red Army, it was the speed and talent of some of the greatest stars in their prime that led them to glory: Vladislav Tretiak, Valery Vasiliev, Vladimir Petrov, Boris Mikhailov, Valery Kharlamov, Alexander Maltsev, Vladimir Lutchenko, Victor Kuznetsov, and Alexander Yakushev. With wild wide-open action, and plenty of unexpected rough moments, this is an unbelievable addition to your collection, from a golden era in hockey history.

Locked away on ancient video tape in a collector's basement, the original footage was found and donated to the Hockey Hall of Fame last year (one game from Moscow was lost forever). Produced with the cooperation of the Hall in this limited-edition 10,000-unit production run, you'll watch the footage as it was originally broadcast, and listen either to your choice of the original commentary, or a fantastic narration from Gordie Howe and Frank Mahovlich re-living the old times. With hours of classic footage you won't find anywhere else, this is an absolute must-have addition to your hockey DVD collection!
