Re-live a lifetime of Flames hockey history! This amazing boxed set delves deep into the NHL archives to bring you ten original playoff game broadcasts of Calgary Flames hockey - some of the most memorable nights ever for Calgary hockey fans. Each of the ten discs included is both an action-packed NHL thrill ride, and a historical document of an important night in team history. Included are the following memorable games:

1981 Stanley Cup Quarterfinals, Game 7 - Flames at Philadelphia Flyers, April 26, 1981, The Spectrum:Heading to Broad Street for Game 7 was like entering the lion's den - and yet, 60 minutes of play after the puck was dropped, and the Calgary Flames became lion-killers, defeating the Flyers and moving on to the Stanley Cup Semi-Finals for the first time in franchise history. A rare original CBC broadcast called by Bob Cole, featuring Pat Riggin, Jim Peplinski, Willi Plett, Guy Chouinard, Paul Reinhart, Ken Houston, Phil Russell, Don Lever, Kevin LaVallee, Brad Marsh, Kent Nilsson, and the rest of the upstart heroes.

1986 Smythe Division Finals, Game 7 - Flames Edmonton Oilers, Northlands Coliseum: In the first two Battle of Alberta installments (1983 and 1984), the Oilers marched through Calgary on their way to the Stanley Cup finals. Finally - thanks to the divine intervention of Oilers defenseman Steve Smith - the Flames turned the tables, and moved through Edmonton on their way to the championship round. Original CBC Hockey Night in Canada broadcast called by Don Wittman, featuring all the legends of the era: Joe Mullen, Al MacInnis, Lanny McDonald, Doug Risebrough, John Tonelli, Dan Quinn, Joel Otto, Hakan Loob, Gary Suter, Tim Hunter, Mike Vernon, and the rest.

1986 Campbell Conference Finals Game 7, May 14, 1986, St. Louis Blues at Flames, Saddledome: In what was, to that point, the greatest night in Flames history, Al MacInnis and Colin Patterson scored to lead the team to a tight 2-1 victory, concluding a wild 7-game series, and sending the Flames to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time! Complete original CTV broadcast called by Dan Kelly.

1989 Smythe Division Semi-Finals Game 7, April 15, 1989, Vancouver Canucks at Flames, Saddledome: The road to the Stanley Cup was almost derailed in the first round, as the underdog Canucks pushed Calgary to the limit. In one of the most thrilling games in NHL history, Mike Vernon saved the day with his miraculous save on Stan Smyl, and Joel Otto's deflection put the Flames back on the road to glory. Complete original CBC Hockey Night in Canada broadcast, called by Bob Cole and John Garrett.

1989 Stanley Cup Finals, Game 6, May 25, 1989, Flames at Montreal Canadiens, Montreal Forum: Celebrate, Calgary - your Flames are Stanley Cup Champions! Re-live the night that long-time fans will never forget, when the final goal of Lanny McDonald's career, and Doug Gilmour's two third-period markers, helped sink the Habs and lift Calgary to victory. Featuring Gary Roberts, Joe Nieuwendyk, Rob Ramage, Theoren Fleury, Jamie Macoun, and the rest. Complete original CBC broadcast, called by Bob Cole, Dick Irvin and Harry Neale.

1991 Smythe Division Semi-Finals, Game 6, April 14, 1991, Flames at Oilers, Northlands Coliseum: In another Battle of Alberta overtime classic, Theo Fleury performs his legendary celebration dance-and-crash after beating Grant Fuhr to force Game 7 in the series. Featuring Sergei Makarov, Ron Stern, Carey Wilson, Paul Ranheim, Ric Nattress, Jim Kyte, Frantisek Musil, and the rest. Complete original CBC broadcast called by Chris Cuthbert.

2004 Western Conference Quarter-Finals, Game 7, April 19, 2004, Flames at Canucks, GM Place: As it happened 15 years earlier, the road to the Stanley Cup Finals almost ended in the first round against Vancouver. And just like in 1989, the Flames battled their way to a thrilling OT victory that launched the team to a date with destiny. Heroics from the likes of Jarome Iginla, Miikka Kiprusoff, Craig Conroy, Shean Donovan, Jordan Leopold, Robyn Regehr, Stephane Yelle, and the OT miracle-worker himself, Martin Gelinas. Complete original ESPN2 broadcast, called by Dave Strader and Brian Engblom.

2004 Western Conference Semi-Finals Game 6, May 3, 2004, Detroit Red Wings at Flames, Saddledome: Touching off one of the wildest nights ever on The Red Mile, Martin Gelinas' second OT goal of the playoffs pushed the Flames on to the third round, knocking out the favored Wings. Complete original CBC broadcast, called by Don Wittman.

2004 Stanley Cup Finals Game 5, June 3, 2004, Flames at Tampa Bay Lightning, St. Pete Times Forum: With this dramatic victory that ended with an Oleg Saprykin OT winner and a shellshocked Southwest Florida crowd, all was well on The Red Mile - the stage was set for a grand Game 6 clinching party two nights later. Alas, it was not to be...but boy, life was good after Game 5! Complete original CBC broadcast, called by Bob Cole and Harry Neale.

2008 Western Conference Quarter-Final Game 3, April 13, 2008, San Jose Sharks at Flames, Saddledome: After flaming out with three goals against in the first period, coach Mike Keenan pulled Kiprusoff and turned to wily veteran Curtis Joseph to start the second. The magic returned, the comeback was on, and a classic series was born! Complete original CBC broadcast, called by Mark Lee and Craig Simpson.

With over 16 hours of historic, original broadcast coverage that you've likely never seen since its original airing back in the day, this is a must for any Flames or NHL hockey fan - and this price, it is a steal of a value you simply can't get anywhere else! The ultimate gift for the ultimate fan.
