Wayne Gretzky was the King of Los Angeles sports in the early 1990s, and especially in 1993, after he led his team to the Stanley Cup finals against the Montreal Canadiens. This poster was issued the following season, when the Kings were still one of the league's elite teams.

The poster is part of Starline's short-lived "Slapshots" series, which featured two photos of each player, superimposed over a city skyline. Some worked well - this one, in particular, is a very attractive piece, and a tough one to find. Note: this poster is long out-of-print; limited quantity remains in our warehouse!
