From the amazing, vast Sports Illustrated series comes this spectacular Red Sox classic! As a rookie second baseman in 1967, Mike Andrews helped lead the Sox to the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals, and by 1969, when this poster was published, he was a Fenway fan favorite! Dispatched to the Chicago White Sox in the Luis Aparicio trade after the 1970 season, Andrews career quickly declined, and he was out of baseball by 1973. But the Fenway faithful will never forget his late-1960s contributions!

This is one of the more difficult-to-find entries in the Rensellar Corp.-era (1968-71) of the vast Sports Illustrated poster series (1968-92). With spectacular photography, and no distracting graphics or borders, these early SI posters delivered nothing but giant-sized sports action! We were lucky enough to obtain a limited quantity of many posters in the series, and have made them available to our customers on a first-come, first-served basis.
