Amazing NLCS action! Ronnie Gant was a fan favorite in Atlanta in the early 1990s, as a five-tool outfield star and a member of the worst-to-first 1991 team that captured everyone's imagination. This poster is a spectacular tribute to Gant and those heady early days of the Braves N.L. dynasty. We're not certain, but we're pretty sure the photograph used in this poster was taken the moment of contact after his Game 3 Home Run in the 1991 NLCS, which helped the Braves to a win and a 2-1 series advantage over the Pittsburgh Pirates. In any case, it is certainly a shot from either the 1991 or 1992 NLCS, with Bucs catcher Don Slaught watching the ball fly deep into the outfield as Gant completes his follow-through. One of the nicest baseball posters we have ever seen, the photography is truly classic - great lines, great composition, vivid color, and a key moment from a big post-season game.
