A hometown hero, Tony C. came to the big leagues as a 19-year-old in 1964, smacked 24 Home Runs in 111 games, and established himself as one of the top hitters in the league. Then, a tragic beanball incident ended his 1967 season abruptly, and wiped out his 1968 season completely. After his miraculous comeback seasons of 1969 and 1970 (20 and 36 Home Runs, respctively), Conigliaro will always be remembered as one of Boston's most beloved and most courageous sports heroes.

This is a great collectors item for any Red Sox fan. The paper quality is excellent and it is in great condition. There are no distracting graphics like you find on modern posters, and the paper is perfectly preserved. Only a few copies left!
