This incredible panoramic poster features gameday in Charlottesville, during one of the first games at the newly-renovated Scott Stadium, with the Cavaliers leading the opposition in front of a packed house. Despite the heavy corporate backing and demand for seats, UVa did the right thing and kept "The Hill" at the open end of the stadium - the grassy knoll that thousands of students camp out on to watch each home game.
Like all prints in photographer Rob Arra's Everlasting Images series, every single detail is in perfect focus, and as you pan across the image you feel like you are at the event. You can read the scoreboard, see the players on the sideline and on the field, read the bowl game appearances listed on the facade of the upper deck, and even see the expressions on the fans' faces. If you've been to a Virginia home game, or even if you're an armchair fan, you'll love this piece - just looking at it makes you feel like you're there on gameday. Worthy of a nice frame and a central location on your sports wall-of-fame!
