Leaving the home crowd with a thrilling memory of the old stadium, in the final few minutes of the game the 49ers intercepted a pass deep in their own territory and returned it 89 yards for a touchdown, sealing the victory and clinching a playoff berth. The final score was San Francisco 34, Atlanta 24. The 49ers called Candlestick Park home from 1971-2013, recording a 225-121-2 combined record in the building.
