Michigan State University - Spartan Stadium

This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, features the Michigan State Spartans football team playing for a win against their ranked opponent in the season opener. This game also marks the first meeting between Michigan State and Boise State, two of the winningest NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision programs over the past two seasons prior to this game. The Spartans gained varsity football status in 1896 and moved into Spartan Stadium when it opened in 1923. Prior to the 2012 season, new high-definition video screens and scoreboards, a new LED ribbon board and a new sound system were installed in the Stadium. Spartan Stadium seats 75,005 fans, though 78,709 fans were in attendance at this game.

Opening night at a jam-packed stadium, under the stadium lights and the bright glare of a national audience on ESPN, and a thrilling comeback win over Boise State - what a night in East Lansing! This spectacular, rare Spartans football print features the scene on August 31, 2012, as the new season begins. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come. Perfect for the wall of any student, alumnus, athlete, Spartans fan, or College football lover!
