Florida Panthers This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the action of the Florida Panthers in their first playoff victory in 15 years, beating the New Jersey Devils 4-2. The Panthers were awarded a National Hockey League franchise for Miami in 1992. They were brought into the league and took part in the 1993 expansion draft. In their third season of play, they made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. As a result of realignment in 1998, the Panthers moved to a new division and opened a brand new arena in the South Florida city of Sunrise. In 2003, the Panthers celebrated their tenth anniversary and hosted one of the most exciting NHL All-Star Games in NHL history.
Step inside the Bank Atlantic Center, and re-live the revitalization of the Florida Panthers franchise! This amazing panoramic shot was taken during Game 2 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarter Finals, as Jose Theodore, Stephen Weiss, Brian Campbell, Kris Versteeg, Tomas Fleischmann, Scottie Upshall, Marco Sturm, Marcel Goc and the rest of the squad wrapped up a 4-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality print stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo, the commemorative title, and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall, and a rare collector's item for years to come. Perfect for the wall of home, office, or locker room!
