Colorado AvalancheThis panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, captures the action of the Colorado Avalanche NHL team as they move the puck down the ice. The franchise, originally founded in Quebec, moved to Denver, Colorado, in 1995. Beginning on November 9, 1995, and ending almost 11 years later, the Colorado Avalanche held the NHL record for longest consecutive attendance sell outs at 487. The Colorado Avalanche won eight division titles in each of their first 10 seasons in Denver and they are the only team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup Championship their first season after relocating. They won their second Stanley Cup Championship in 2001, when they defeated the New Jersey Devils.
A must for any true Denver sports fan! Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality print stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo, the commemorative title, and a brief descriptive paragraph, this Avs game night panorama is both a beauty for the wall, and a great collector's item for years to come. Perfect for the wall of home, office, or locker room!
