The well-known green and white uniforms came about in 1963 when the club was renamed the New York Jets. Owner Woody Johnson purchased the club in 2000 and, under his ownership, visited the playoffs a record five times through the 2000s. The Jets delivered the first true home field in their history in 2010 and, are well on their way to delivering the best game day experiences in the NFL.
