After winning multiple Stanley Cup Championships during the 1980s, the Oilers were honored with "dynasty" status by the Hockey Hall of Fame. In the 1983-84 season, the Oilers finished first overall in the NHL winning a franchise record of 57 games and scoring a grand total of 446 goals for an NHL record.
