This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, highlights the Green Bay Packers playing a victorious Sunday night game at the historic Lambeau Field. The Packers home field was dedicated as City Stadium on September 29, 1957, and renamed Lambeau Field in 1965 in tribute to Curly Lambeau. In 2007, the Packers celebrated the 50th anniversary of the opening of Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers have won 12 championships, more than any other team in the National Football League. The Super Bowl trophy, awarded each year to the winning team of the the NFL's championship game, was renamed in 1970 in memory of Vince Lombardi, legendary head coach of the Green Bay Packers.
Sunday night by Lake Michigan under the bright lights of Lambeau, with a jam-packed crowd thrilling to another legendary Packers-Vikings grudge match...it doesn't get any better than this! From the action on the field below, to the ecstatic crowd, to the scoreboards, video screens, and unique stadium architecture, it's all here - the entire scene from Green Bay, Wisconsin, looking absolutely fantastic for your wall. The scene, from the October 24, 2010 game against Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings, is printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come. Perfect for the wall of any fan of Packers football and big-time NFL action!
