Kasey Kahne - Gillett Evernham Motorsports
No.9 Budweiser Dodge Charger
The No.9 Budweier Dodge Charger is driven by Kasey
Kahne and owned by Gillett Evernham Motorsports. In 1999, Dodge asked Ray
Evernham to lead their return to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing after
a 20-year absence. Within two short years, Gillett Evernham Motorsports
helped bring the storied manufacturer back into a sport they had once dominated.
For the 2004 season, Kasey Kahne replaced Bill Elliott in the No.9 Dodge
and recorded five second-place finishes in quest of the Raybestos Rookie
of the Year Award. In 2005, Kahne recorded his first NASCAR Cup Series
victory and in 2006 led the series with six wins. Budweiser became the
primary sponsor of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series No.9 Dodge in 2008.
