It features an aerial view of Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, one of the founding clubs of the USGA. The stately clubhouse, designed by Stanford White, is prominently featured in the photograph. Built in 1892, it is the oldest clubhouse in America. Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is located in Southampton, New York and was founded in 1891. It was the site of James Foulis' U.S. Open victory in 1896 and Ray Floyd's victory in 1986. Other USGA Championships hosted by Shinnecock Hills include the U.S. Amateur, Women's Amateur, Walker Cup and Senior Open.
